All told from Jan 1 2005 to April 3 2005 I ran 200 miles. The whole time people have asked me why I would want to run a half marathon. To be honest, I don't know that I did want to run a half marathon. You can tell from the pictures below I was pretty happy when i was finished, as well as tired. But I do not know really why I wanted to train that much or run that far. I think I might want to do another one some time...so I must have enjoyed it to some degree. The race itself didn't seem as long as some of my training runs simply because it was all new ground, it was all about running one mile at a time and taking in the sights! I finished the race in around 2:13:00 my goal was two minutes faster than that, but I can't say that I was disappointed by my time. I just can't believe I ran for over two hours to be honest! It is two days after the race now and I am sick, my body is beat...I just feel run down and a little sad. When you train that long for something it is weird to get up the next day and not really have to do anything. I have purposely not been working out all that much simply because I had done enough running in the last years of my life for a life time.  I took three years to get to the point where I felt way too lazy.  So with Suzanne’s encouragement I have decided to train for a half-marathon.  13.1 miles! After I saw my brother run a marathon I made the goal to never run a marathon! So now I might be half way towards not keeping that goal!?! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well I have been seriously doubting myself over this (whether I can actually finish this or not) and have been putting off registering for the actual run.  So tonight, again with Suzanne’s encouragement I did it.  I gave some group of people $35 dollars to let me run to the point that I cannot run anymore.  Why do on earth would anyone do this?  Why would I give people money to make me run for around 2 hours???  I don’t even nap for two hours, why would I want to run for 2 hours?  I don’t know what I am thinking, but I am doing it. Thank you for checking in again.  So for those of you check in and do not know who Erwin McManus is…well then you are not going to be very excited about the fact that I got to pick him up from the airport and then have lunch with him!  For those of you that do know who he is well…pretty cool huh???  I was able to go with a pastor from our church and spend two hours with just the three of us.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;It was amazing.  The thing that was so cool, is that if I said I had lunch with Michael Jordan, everyone would think it is cool because he has a great jump shot.  But it is cool to have lunch with Erwin because of how much God has used him in his life.  Which is cooler?  If you ask me I would rather spend a day with Erwin, but that is just me. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I had a pretty moving experience this past week.  Allow me to explain.  At Denver Seminary every semester (except for your first) you have to choose a professional and personal topic that you want to learn about.  And for each topic you have to spend 60 hours focusing on each throughout the semester.  For this semester I choose Personal Services for my professional topic, such as weddings, funerals, baptisms, baby dedications etc… and for my personal topic I chose my marriage.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of the pastors from the church I am interning at had to do a funeral this week.  So I went along with him to assist.  It was a funeral for a 28 year old father of two who died of skin cancer.  It was the first funeral that I ever attended that I wasn’t there because of some sort of a relationship with the deceased.  Needless to say it was a very moving day.  It only reaffirms my desire to live this life for Christ.  Knowing that this is the only chance I will get. My first semester of seminary is in the bag. Exam week was hard to say the least. My favorite part of my semester was the part that I was dreading the most! I had to write a 14 page paper about how Jesus relates to the outcasts of His society and how each different gospel writer presents that. I love writing the paper and really feel like I learned a lot from it. However one of the biggest things that I am realizing is my desire, scratch that, my need to be a life long learner. I want to and realize the importance of continually growing in knowledge for the rest of my life. Too many people get out of school and seem to think they have learned enough and for the rest of their life they are going to just form opinions and entertain themselves. That can sound a little harsh but sadly I think it actually sounds true.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I want to be learning about Christ and the power of His work for the rest of my life. I want to always be learning and not just reacting to all the stuff that life throws at you. Suzanne has not been at her job for a month and got quite a raise today. It is amazing that she even got this job. 60+ people applied for it and they narrowed it down to two. The other person that they narrowed it down to was someone that had filled in for the position before and they loved this girl. Suz got this job and it defies all logic. We (and many others) have been praying about Suz getting this job for some time….awesome!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is weird being in a time of blessing. Should I feel a certain way? When I look back on this time from a time of sadness will I think that I should have been happier? I am not really sure how to even begin to answer this…&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am happy, but is this going to be the time in my life where I will back and say that I have never been as blessed as in this time period? Either way I am grateful that God seems so near to me right now. Not because I am something special or because I am in such a “good” place spiritually. But just because seminary and TNL are really challenging me to think and contemplate God on a daily basis. It is not that God hasn’t always been on my mind since He saved me, but this is different, I am much more impressed with how much He cares and how much He wants us to share His goodness.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I was so moved by a verse in Philippians that was shared last night at church. Paul said in Philippians 3:10 &lt;em&gt;“I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow to attain the resurrection from the dead.”&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Amazing…this is not what people generally say when they consider what they want from God. I would be telling a bold face lie if I said I was living in a way that I am looking to share in Christ’s sufferings at this point, but that is where I want to get.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't want to live in a way which is annoying but to live in such a way that the righteousness of Christ shows through me so much that others persecute me for looking like Christ did.  Christ came and lived such a righteous life that they killed Him for it.  So many times this is not the gospel people are signing up to share or even to believe in and follow. I don't know if you are reading this, and by "you" I mean someone that doesn't share the same last name as me.  But if you are checking in to see how the Cooper's are doing...this is the right place.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So it has been and will continue to be crazy around here.  Suzanne started her new job at Denver Children's Hopsital this week and is doing great.  I (Tim) (Tim Cooper) (Timothy Miller Cooper) made it through mid-terms and now I am in paper time...paper time is crazy!  Also as you saw the title to this blog is TNL...what is TNL?  It is the church that I got an intership at!  &lt;a href="http://www.tnl.org"&gt;The Next Level&lt;/a&gt; chruch it what TNL stands for.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The intership is an awesome situation for me to gain expierence and be around real people while I am in Seminary.  Either way I am stoked, super excited and over all just glad to be doing what I love...investing in people and trying to move them deeper/closer to Jesus.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks for checking in...leave a message if you feel like it... Some of you may already know this story about Horatio Spafford. But to give you a little background, our pastor was talking about Abraham and his great faith. He talked about how God asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son. Abraham didn't hesitate, they got up early the next morning and they headed on their way. Ultimately, God did not allow Abraham to sacrifice his son. But, Abraham demonstrated amazing faith by doing everything God asked of him. Our pastor went on to talk about loving the giver more than the gift. God has been teaching me a lot about this lately. I know God has truly blessed me. But, I want to praise and worship Christ even if everything I value is taken away from me. I pray I will praise, love, and find joy in Christ because of who He is not because of what he gives me. I worship Christ because he took my sin and died on the cross for me. Then our pastor told us the following story and I had to fight back the tears.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the 1870s Horatio Spafford was a successful Chicago lawyer and a close friend of evangelist Dwight L. Moody. Spafford had invested heavily in real estate, but the Chicago fire of 1871 wiped out his holdings. His son had died shortly before the disaster as well.&lt;br /&gt;Spafford and his family desperately needed a rest so in 1873 he planned a trip to Europe with his wife and four daughters. Last minute business caused Spafford to delay his departure, but he sent his wife and four daughters on the S.S. Ville Du Havre as scheduled, promising to follow in a few days. On November 22 the ship was struck by the English ship Lochearn, and it sank in twelve minutes. Several days later the survivors landed at Cardiff, Wales, and Mrs. Spafford cabled her husband the brief message, "Saved alone."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When Horatio Spafford made the ocean crossing to meet his grieving wife, he sailed near the place where his four daughters had sunk to the ocean depths. There, in the midst of his sorrow, he wrote these unforgettable words that have brought solace to so many in grief. The hymn refers to Romans 5:8, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The words of Spafford's beloved hymn follow:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When peace, like a river, attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea billows roll; Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say, "It is well, it is well with my soul." It is well with my soul It is well, it is well with my soul.&lt;br /&gt;Thou Satan should buffet, tho' trials should come, Let this blest assurance control, That Christ has regarded my helpless estate, And hath shed His own blood for my soul. It is well with my soul It is well, it is well with my soul.&lt;br /&gt;My sin... O, the bliss of this glorious thought, My sin, not in part but the whole, Is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more, Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul! It is well with my soul It is well, it is well with my soul.&lt;br /&gt;And Lord, haste the day when the faith shall be sight, The clouds be rolled back as a scroll, The trump shall resound and the Lord shall descend, "Even so" - it is well with my soul. It is well with my soul It is well, it is well with my soul.&lt;br /&gt;I felt so unworthy to sing this beautiful song. Just trying to realize the feelings and emotions he must have felt. He lost his only son and his four daughters. He was in the midsts of a very tragic time but he still praises God for taking on his sin and dying for him. I have gone through difficult times but nothing that compares to this. Friday Denver Children's Hospital called and offered Suz the job that over 60 people applied for! Today (Monday) she accepted it! So we are back! Seriously, we are so excited that you have prayed for us, and that God has answered our prayers.&lt;br /&gt;I love how much God is concerned with details in our lives. God could have brought us out here and had us get the job right away, but God saw fit to test us and I am thankful for that fact that we serve a God like that. I admit my doubt in Him from time to time, but I am grateful that God is always waiting and willing to accept us when we return.&lt;br /&gt;Well I just wanted to write and tell you all the good news. My goal going into it was to not do anything that would make Leith Anderson remember me. He gave some amazing talks before we got on a plane to go home and give 5 sermons the next day. So if he doesn't remember me, it will feel like I have done my job. I think we did fine, Suz is great infront of people, I don't think it is something she wants to make a career out of, but you would never know it by how she does when she gets up there. For those of you that don't know, Suz and I had the honor of being the only Denver Seminary student (and spouse) chosen to speak at a Leith Anderson Leadership conference. The first night included a fancy dinner and a great talk by Leith. The second day started with a free breakfast and then 3 different sessions of talks by Leith, Suz and I lead off the final session.&lt;br /&gt;Before the first session there was worship. Suz and I happened to pick the seats that were right in front of a guy who obviously loved to worship. The only problem was that he didn't know the words and he didn't care to sing the right ones anyway. That wouldn't have been all that bad except he was singing loud enough to the point where I couldn't hear myself or Suz singing. It didn't end there either, this guy enjoyed adding words that weren't there and repeating words at the end of each sentence. Is this wrong that I am writing about this guy? Maybe...but man it was funny...oh well....just keeping it real....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Suzanne Update:&lt;br /&gt;Well she is still without a job, but has had some promising leads. Denver Children's Hospital called her back this week and asked her for references, so we think that is a good sign. If they weren't considering her why interview her twice then ask for references?? There are also two other leads that could be promising and if she were offered them, I think she would take them. They are not in her field, and that is what I think she would take them. Other than the job situation she is loving life. Suzanne and I are different in many ways, one of them is the fact that suz likes to lay in bed. Not nap...just lay in bed. I would pull my hair out...and hers too if I had to lay there for more than a minute. We can't spend money now so she is having to come up with creative ways to entertain herself and it is hard to leave the house without spending money. So she lays in bed at times...I love her, were just different.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We still don't have a couch...Remember the blog I wrote when we bought the couch on Aug 8th???? It still hasn't been delivered. We sit and lay on the floor and we wine and complain to each other as if it was going to fix the problem. We are seriously going to feel like royalty when our couch finally does come!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Before I forget...Congrats to the &lt;a href="http://www.ostovic.blogspot.com"&gt;Ostivovic's&lt;/a&gt;, I voted for them to be having a boy, and sure enough they are!!1&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Weather: It is getting cold here. I feel strongly about it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So anyway, I am in week four of my seminary career and I love it very much thank you. Greek is...well Greek. It is really hard, but it is so valuable to understanding the Bible. All of the other classes are going well I think. It is not so much what you get out of the lecture in the those classes, your success, or how much you get out of the class is based upon the work you put in outside of the class room. Seeing as I studied only during finals week all through college, it is a big shock to my system to be carving out time to study all throughout the week. Well that is enough of that...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Suz and I have had a pretty big honor bestowed upon us. There is a leadership conference coming up the first weekend in October. Leading the conference is &lt;a href="http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/faith_matters/"&gt;Leith Anderson&lt;/a&gt;, from Minnesota, who just happens to be one of the best in the Christian community in terms of church leadership. It is a two day conference which will cost you $85 a head to attended. This isn't for seminary students, it is mostly advertised to local churches, so they can have their pastors attend. Well, since the conference is being put on by Denver Seminary the board thought they would ask one student to speak at the conference. They asked myself and Suzanne to speak for ten minutes on the second day of the conference! We are honored and very unsure of how we will fit all of what they are asking us to talk on, into a ten minute talk! The best part of this all, is the fact that we get to attend the entire conference for free! Please pray for us in this, I love speaking but I am not exactly sure what to say to motivate a room full of people that I aspire to be like. And while you are praying keep praying for Suz's job situation...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One final thing, I don't know how much you are all into politics. I was into them a lot more before I moved, but now I am mostly into Suz, football and homework. I just kind of always assumed that Christians would vote for Bush. I am so surprised by all of the negative vibes I am getting from the people on the seminary campus in regard to Bush. Don't get me wrong it is not campus wide, and there are plenty of people who like Him, but I have one prof who just flat out doesn't like Bush and isn't afraid to share it. Either way it came as a shock to meet people that are Christians that think he is the worst. She called yesterday as well to inform Suz that her husband of just over a year is leaving her. He said that he doesn't love her anymore and that he never got a chance to live life. Suz and I are so sad for this couple and for Suzanne's friend especially, who didn't see this coming. This trend is way too familiar in our culture and one that is spreading. When people take lightly the commitments that they are making at the alter, they will take just as lightly breaking those promises when a rough patch comes along.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Every married guy, and I would assume every lady too, probably knows what it feels like to be in a situation of un-certainty, with regards to their marriage. That un-certainty can last a second or a lifetime depending on how you deal with it. I am reading a book right now called &lt;em&gt;True Faced, &lt;/em&gt;it deals with this sort of issue, where we rely on putting on masks to hide what we are really thinking, feeling, or dealing with. The point of our masks is to keep people out of our hurt and essentially out of our healing process. We use these masks with the people that we love most and with God too...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I normally do not write blogs like this, but felt that this was a topic worth writing about. The truth is that our friends husband is leaving his wife to quench a thirst that is not quenchable by sex or drugs or endless parties. So many of our problems are the result, I am learning, of un-resolved sin. Sin that has been either let out by us, or taken in by us, and we refuse to do anything about it. Sin that just sits there will always lead to more sin! We will look at other situations as more favorable and more exciting than whatever we are in. When we buy into the "Grass is always greener" mentality we buy into one of the biggest lies that satan ever threw at us. We buy into the lie that the money, the other person, the other pleasure is always going to be the final thing that makes us happy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;God is the only thing that is going to quench our thirst. This could be something that is overstated but it is surely not overused. We often are running to all different things before we try running to God. Even in seminary it is easy to place God on the side and just "do" godly stuff, without actually connecting with the Creator. This is what you and I have to fight against daily.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No matter if you are in seminary, or if you are in a marriage, or single, the priority has to be God. Apart from Him we have no chance. Even with Him we are not guaranteed a life of fun. As Christians, we need to be the first to drop all of our masks and let others into the real us. We need to show others that even though we might be just as big of a scum bag as the next guy, that is it only by the grace of God through Christ that we have a chance at heaven. It is so simple to say and so difficult to live out.&lt;br /&gt;I will pray for you as you do this and experience this with me. It is weird I am putting in the kind of days that I thought I would never want to put in, and this is only the first week. What is weird is putting 10 hours into studying and at the end of the day loving what you are doing. I have to admit there is much more work than I actually thought and learning a language makes you feel...well not that bright when you are starting. But I have never been more sure of anything in my life, in regards if I should be here or not. God has made it clear that there is a challenge in front of me, but He has also made it clear to Suz and me that this is where He wants us!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Speaking of the love of my life, Suz found out today that she has her second interview with Denver Children's Hospital next Thursday, Sept 9. I don't think we as friends and family ask for prayer enough from each other, but if you are reading will you please pray for God's will to be done with Suzanne and her interview. We feel as close to God as we ever have right now and we just want for our lives whatever brings Him the most Glory. Thank you for your prayers!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well to switch topics completely, I have had 3 Jamba Juices in 3 days!!! My addiction is not wearing off!!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Are you as happy as I am that Manchester United signed Alan Smith AND Wayne Rooney!!!! Are you kidding me? I kicked off my seminary career with a 2 hour and 45 minute lecture in Understanding Israel Early History and its Wisdom Literature!!! To be honest it was awesome! The amount of reading I have to do for the class...not awesome, but I am here to learn aren't I??? For my next class I am supposed to skim the first 5 books of the Bible, read 60+ pages in our text and memorize some map. Do you know what the first 5 books of the Bible are like? As much as I want to complain...I cannot. I am so excited to be here, emotion is worn off and realization is setting in, but I am honored that God called us in this direction.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After class Suz and I went to Chipolte! We ate for free! Allow me to explain...Our neighbors are incharge of the CARE team for our apt complex and last weekend they threw a toga party (no I didn't wear one). At the party there were door prizes and Suz won, then I stole, two free gift certificates to Jamba Juice!!!!! I have never been happier to be married to that girl!!! We also walked out with two free burritos at Chipolte and Seminary students get free drinks at local Chipolte's!!! So we ate lunch for free!!! I couldn't have asked for more!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well that's is about it for now....oh yea did you notice how much cooler timandsuz.com is looking??? We really like our young marrieds group that we are going to, we are meeting people and feel like God has shown us a place where we can fit in.&lt;br /&gt;We found a park just up the street from us and it is great. We went for a bike ride there one day and did some rollerblading the next.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today was awesome as well!! Well, I guess it was awesome...first I went to buy my books for the upcoming semester and I was taken back when the price came to just under $500. Then I was taken back even more when he said the two books that I was missing would be in soon! Oh well, I have to be honest I am nervous about starting. More than anything I am questioning myself just because I really have no idea what to expect of myself. I have always done well in school but I have never really cared how I did. I studied because I had to, not because I really wanted to learn. Oh well...we will find out soon enough, classes start next Monday.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On to more exciting news and why today was awesome. Suz and I took the light rail to downtown Denver and spent 3 and a half hours in the ESPN Zone! We both sat in oversized Leather Chairs and watched 12 different screens!! I got to watch to soccer games over dinner and dessert. It was awesome. We walked around downtown and looked at the shops and the many many Starbucks that were around.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When we got home there was a message on the machine for Suz, it was Denver Children's hospital and they wanted to set up a 2nd interview with Her!! So PLEASE pray for her and for the coming up interview!!!&lt;br /&gt;Well that is about it for now, and by the way my attempt to grow a beard failed miserably. I am actually watching and excited to see USA play well...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So anyway, incase you were wondering Suzanne had a phone interview with Denver Children's Hospital last Monday and in her words, " I thought it went really well. I was happy with how the interview played out." After the interview they told Suz that she would hear something in the next couple weeks if there will be any further interviews...keep praying for her! Thank you for those prayers!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I have not had a Jamba in over 24 hours and I am starting to develop a twitch....ok I am not really twitching, but if I tell Suz that I am, maybe she will let me go get one, I am going to try a new flavor today, so I am a little nervous.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well it is nice to get all of our stuff into our new home. It is funny this place is starting to feel like home. Suz and I met our neighbors yesterday and they were really nice, Aaron and Misti. Misti is one of ten kids!!! Aaron is starting and Denver Seminary in the fall as well. It is going to be great to get to know them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you are logging on to &lt;a href="http://www.timandsuz.com"&gt;www.timandsuz.com&lt;/a&gt; and you are seeing a make-over for the site, all thanks has to go to &lt;a href="http://www.gitgan.com"&gt;Josh Smith&lt;/a&gt;. He is awesome with this stuff, and I am a moron so together we make a very average team. But when I let him do his thing we are awesome!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hopefully in future updates I will tell you about my attempt at growing a beard and the new book I am reading...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well once again it is an awesome day here today and I have soccer practice tonight at a local park and I am pretty pumped about it!!! I will be putting pics on the website as soon as I figure out how...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So anyway the sights that we saw in the last 48 hours are straight out of a fairytale. There were amazing. We were in Aspen and Vail yesterday. Both awesome, but both of them totally different.&lt;br /&gt;When we were in Vail we got to ride up the ski lift for free and watch the sunset behind the mountains...amazing!!! It seemed like you could see all of the Rocky Mountains from up there. It is so great to be able to share these sights with the person you love most.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When we got up this morning we were excited to see our movers! Our stuff has finally arrived, no more sleeping on the floor...for now. IT is a total wreck in our apt, boxes and junk everywhere but it is nice to make our apt feel like home.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I have been ignoring writing this for long enough. If you are reading this then you are a friend, if you are not reading this then i'm confused. So my love affair with Jamba Juice has reached new levels, not only did I crave one all day but I had to have one tonight so I went over and got my hands on a Peach Pleasure!! If that was all then that wouldn't be too bad. But at my neighborhood Jamba if you buy a $25 dollar gift card you get a Jamba Juice free!!! Well at this pace I will spend $25 dollars, so Suz let me get myself a gift card!!! SO I have the plastic form of heaven tucked in my wallet which allows me to get my next 6 Jambas!! And yes I only took her there because on &lt;a href="http://www.garyandjennie.com"&gt;Gary Underwood's Blogger &lt;/a&gt;he recommended it. So what? Big deal right? Well it was probably one of the best meals both Suz and I have had, our first course was a Cheese sauce that we dipped fruits, veggies and bread into. Then they brought the salad. Many of you that know me, know that I don't do salads.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So when it arrived I thought I will give it a try, afterall it is Suz's birthday. So I take a bite of this salad and this rancid taste begins to creep into my mouth, and it only gets worse until I am swishing around the ice water I found in front of me. "What the crap was that?" I asked Suz. "That's feta cheese." I began to explain to her from this point on in my life anyone that is friends with feta cheese is not friends with me. It could have been one of the worst experiences of my life, in the middle of one the of the best meals of my life!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Just a side note, if you are asking yourself, "Hey how could Tim have gone 24 years without ever eating feta cheese?" Just so you know, I never tried barbecue sauce, broccoli, or cauliflower until my honeymoon...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So anyway The Melting Pot, great place to eat if you don't mind dropping some real coin...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Back to my real love, Jamba Juice, I told you all that I was going to try Lime It Up! and I did, it was good, but it was A LOT of lime...so I went back today just to smooth things over with Jamba and got the Peach Pleasure again, we are on good terms now...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I had my first soccer game tonight and it went ok... We lost 2-1, it is always funny being around soccer players that you have never played with, you have to prove yourself on the field for them to like you it seems... After I had run around for the first 10 minutes I found myself laying on the sidelines wishing to never move again. The altitude really hit me hard! It wasn't as bad in the second half, either way it was fun to kick the ball again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh well, Suz and I are off to the mountains tomorrow! For those of you that are/were praying about a church for us, thank you...for those of you that weren't....well you may keep reading too. We went to church today and we went to a Young Marrieds Class, much like and ABF but bigger. It was really nice and had a really good teaching. It is run by couples and taught by couples, I guess that helps both the dudes and the chicks get something out of the talk. We don't know if this is our home church yet but we really liked it and we will be back in the near future...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So on to my couch talk.  For as long as we have known that we are moving to Denver we have known that we are going to buy a couch when we arrive, well we arrived and so we went to buy a couch.  What a great time, I told myself, to let Suz really get something that she likes!  So she and I bought the most amazing guy couch you have ever seen!!! I loved it!!! It is and L couch and it is Slate Gray with some cool pillows! One problem... suz wasn't as crazy about it, infact she woke up at 3am last night and I could tell something was wrong. So being the husband that cares I said, "what's wrong?" She said, "I hate the couch!" I then said, "Tell me again at 9am." and I went back to bed.  When I awoke all I could think was we spent 3 hours picking out a couch and we bought a SWEEEEEET couch, what could be the problem??? Well I guess Suz didn't envision a dude couch for our new home....so we went back today and returned a couch we didn't have, in exchange for the exact same couch, but a different color.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To be honest, I was happy about the whole thing because on the way home we stopped at &lt;a href="http://www.jambajuice.com/"&gt;Jamba Juice&lt;/a&gt;. Now this might be an overstatement but if things don't work out with me and suz I might think of trying to marry that store!?!?! Too far? Oh well, these smoothies are amazing, I am going back tomorrow to try the Lime It Up!! Sad?  Both? </title><content type='html'>So months of prayer and months of excitement and now we are here in our new life. God has been awesome since we have been here, helping us to find our way around and making sure we bump into people who can really help us find what we need. I have to admit though, I am super intimidated about the upcoming prospect of taking these classes. I think that is a good thing in the long run though because that will make me take them much more seriously.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since Suzanne and I have been married she has worked 3 or 4 nights a week. Now we are spending everyday all day together, which is great, but it is still different. Our marriage has, sadly, never consisted of constant interaction day after day. I forgot how big of a jerk I can be....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well we are off to try our first, and hopefully, our last church out here. We are going to a young marrieds class today. I am in my apartment in Denver, finally. Suz is walking around the apt cleaning, giving it that girly touch that makes this pad feel like home.&lt;br /&gt;I am tired from yesterday, I woke up and drove from Toledo Ohio to Western Nebraska?!?! Who does that? Oh well, I am really looking forward to using this Blog, I don't know exactly if anyone will be reading it, or as Suz just said, " Do you think that anyone will actually read that?" She is thinking what I am thinking but she didn't have to say it!
